BBGossip is offline... I'm sorry to announce that BBGossip will not be returning to your screens for the forseeable future. BBG regular BBBlueass has set up a BBG Leftovers forum and Catti has supplied the Kosy Kitchen for you to find all your old gossiping chums. BBGossip has closed for many reasons. Every year has placed extra burden on individuals whose contribution has made this site what it was. I personally feel responsible for a huge amount of disruption in their lives and for that matter, my own. I simply cannot make sure I am here even on a weekly basis, let alone daily basis to keep this site running and it's unfair to expect those who have taken the reigns before to just pick them up on a whim whenever I am unavailable. I didn't take this step lightly but I feel a line had to be drawn under something I could no longer commit to, and the site is in no shape to allow any new novice moderators to take over the administrative side of things. I was 24 when BBGossip started and life has changed somewhat since, 6 years on. I'm struggling to keep everything and everyone around me happy just day-to-day with the usual pressures - BBGossip would be the final straw on several counts I'm afraid. Thank you to all the wonderful people who made this community what it was, you kept it going when I would have closed it a long time ago. I am glad that it has brought happiness to some people's lives and it has been especially great to meet some of you. Again, I am sorry for this decision but I have no other way which doesn't involve time I cannot give. Pat, May 2008.
